Donna W's Fall TR Now you have to remember, these 1600 quilts are in addition to the ones they made when we had our 1600 Challenge day at the fire hall last month. I think they're trying to show the rest of us up, lol. Now the next 1600 quilt is the one Tammy did at the fire hall, but she decided to put a scarecrow from another pattern on hers. Her mom, Jane is helping her with it. Isn't this a cute idea? Tammy's quilt And here's the beautiful table runner that Jane received from Joan K in the Quilted Table Fall/Halloween Swap. Isn't it gorgeous? Joan does such beautiful work. Stop over at her blog (Moose Stash Quilting) and look at all the wonderful projects she has made. She even has some tutorials for you to try. |
Until next time...
Happy quilting from Sharon and the girls, Katie and Patsy Cline

As I am scrolling thru the beautiful quilts, one looked very familiar!!! Thanks for the shout out. I am humbled. :-)
And I think I need to make a kitty cat quilt for me-self now. I love that one!
Love the 1600 quilts! Especially the one with cats! We just had a QOV workshop where we did red, white and blue 1600 quilts. We are going to put stars on ours. Beautiful quilts!

I love Bonnie's cat quilt, can I get the pattern?
Kim and anyone else interested in the cat quilt pattern:
The quilt pattern is that 1600 strip quilt that went around as the rage a couple of years ago. There are several YouTube videos on it, or you can check out my Sept 14, 2011 blog post with info and links to it here: http://quiltingwithamarmaladecat.blogspot.com/2011/09/sunday-sew-thon.html
The cats were from a free pattern years ago from McCall’s Quilting called Stairway to Cat Heaven, 52 x 52, by Marty Mason. You probably can google and find copies to buy now on the internet or Etsy, but the easiest way to make the cats is to google cat patterns and then view images. Tons of free cat patterns you can copy and save will come up.
I hope this helps and thanks for stopping by.
Sharon
OMG the jelly roll race with the cat silhouettes is adorable! do you think you could find out where she found the appliques?
